Studio fundraiser
Your support of our minority owned non-profit business meant that not only can we help our students in the immediate COVID-19 aftermath, but with your help we can continue to provide quality ballet lessons and dance attire to our students throughout the remainder of 2020.
Please watch this 30 second video about Dancing In the Streets AZ
During this Pandemic Dancing In The Streets AZ, like other businesses was forced to close due to concerns about COVID-19 and the Public Health. We received no financial assistance and had Zero revenue for the past three months. Because of the nature of ballet classes we were not able to offer drive thru or take-out like restaurants. On-line ZOOM classes for the population we serve, was not an option either, most of the students do not have a reliable internet provider, laptops, or they share one device with the whole household. We need operating expenses, to pay our bills like everyone else to keep our doors open. Donations also goes to help our at-risk families to pay for lessons and ballet attire (Scholarship money) If we close our doors these students will not have affordable ballet opportunities elsewhere. I am asking for financial help if you are able, from my Facebook buddies, and anyone else that believes that arts education is important for children/teens to become more productive members of society when they grow up. No amount is too small!!
Remember we are all in this together this is a community investment and many of our students and families face inequitable access to quality education, gainful employment, and safe and stable housing. These inequities highlight the urgency of our mission to build thriving communities, through the power of arts education.
