The Nutcracker, Snowflakes, Sword Fights, and Dancing Dolls. Let your imagination transport you to a land of Magical dancing, and childhood dreams. Be swept away by Tchaikovsky’s iconic score as the Sugar Plum Fairy, our heroine Clara, and a cast of hundreds take you on a magical journey to mystical lands. This full-length traditional production is choreographed and directed by Founders and Artistic Directors Joseph Rodgers and Soleste Lupu. Dancing toys, mischievous mice, waltzing flowers and sparkling snowflakes dance to Tchaikovsky’s sumptuous score. The Nutcracker ballet is based on the classic E.T.A. Hoffmann tale, featuring the magical toymaker Herr Drosselmeyer, Claire, her beloved Nutcracker Prince, twirling Snowflakes, and battling mice. Whether you’re seeing it again, or for the first time, The Nutcracker ballet will capture your imagination and transport you to a magical world of brave toy soldiers and waltzing flowers. Follow Clara as she embarks on her journey filled with colorful characters and breathtaking costumes. The Nutcracker is the perfect way to introduce children and adults of all ages to the power and beauty of classical dance.
