Alonzo King Lines Discovery Project is Coming to Tucson!

We are thrilled to announce, for the first time, Alonzo King LINES Ballet Discovery Project will be coming to Tucson, Arizona in March 2013! Discovery Project was launched in 2008 and is an initiative that aims to collaborate with various dance communities in reaching and impacting as many young artists as possible.

LINES Ballet Discovery Project, in partnership with Dancing in the Streets will host an intense four-day workshop March 7-10, 2013. Designed for intermediate and advanced level dancers, ages 13 and up, the workshop provides an opportunity for students to participate in ballet, pointe, men’s technique, contemporary partnering, improvisation and modern, and to experience original choreography and LINES Ballet repertoire under the guidance of LINES Ballet faculty.

The cost of the workshop is $40 per dancer, and one full scholarship will be awarded to a Discovery Project participant to attend the 2013 LINES Ballet Summer Program.

Please note registration is in person only, on Thursday, March 7, 2013  at Dancing in the Streets Arizona and a first come first serve basis. Please bring the registration form already filled out.
